1. COMMANDS FOR WORKING WITH THE STORY

Pressing the button will open a new window where you can select the video file you want to assign to the story.

Pressing the button will open a window with the content of the story text that is used when reading off.

ASSIGNING A VIDEO FILE

1 – Window for viewing the selected video file in the list
2 – Button for assigning a video file to a story
By pressing the button, the selected video file will be assigned to the story
3 – Button to cancel video file assignment
4 – Production selection button
Pressing the “Select Production” button will open a new menu with a list of all defined productions.

Selecting a production from the list will search for materials belonging to the selected production.
5 – Search for material by given word
Space for entering one or more given words by which the material will be searched
6 – Determination of search criteria
All – searches all files,
Today – searches for files that were added today,
From Yes. – searches for files that were added today and yesterday,
Last 3 days – searches for files that have been added in the last three days,
Last week – searches for files that have been added in the last seven days,
Video – searches for video files,
Still – searches for still (image) files,
Audio – searches for audio files,
Program – performs a program search.
7 – Search for materials by time
In the window, it is possible to enter a value in hours, which refers to the time when the material was added to the database.
8 – Tags
A window for printing the tags assigned to the selected file from the list.
9 – List of materials
The window in which the search results will be entered.
3. COMMANDS TO DETERMINE THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE STORY

1 – Information about the user who created the story
Clicking on the user information field will open a menu with a list of all registered NewsRoom users.

Selecting a user will change the user who created the story
2 – Story status field
Assigned – the story is in the Assigned status (assigned for work),
In progress – the story is in In progress status (in preparation),
Completed – the story is in Completed status (completed and awaiting approval).
Approved – The story is in Approved status (approved for broadcast).
NOTE: When one of the story status buttons is clicked, the date and time the status was assigned will be written below the status.
3 – Information about the user to whom the story is assigned for work
Clicking on the user information field will open a menu with a list of all registered NewsRoom users.

By selecting a user, you will change the user that the story is assigned to work on.
4 – Story category
A drop-down menu from which the category to which the story belongs is determined.
4. DETERMINATION OF RESOURCES

1 – Space for entering useful information
2 – Drop-down menu for selecting the cameraman who will record the video material needed to prepare the story
3 – Drop-down menu for selecting the person who will edit the recorded material
4 – Drop-down menu to select the car to be used in the preparations

B – the selected text will be reinforced (Bold)
I – the selected text will be distorted (Italic)
U – the selected text will be underlined (Underline)
COPY – the selected text will be copied to the computer’s memory (Ctrl + C)
CUT – the selected text will be cut (Ctrl + X)
PASTE – the text of the computer’s memory will be placed at the location where the pointer is located (Ctrl + V)
9. TIMELINE FOR SETTING UP AN AUTOMATIC SIGNATURE

2 – Graphic representation of the moment of appearance of the automatic signature on the material
3 – Button to open the automatic signature settings window
By pressing the button, a window will open in which it is possible to set signatures that will appear automatically at the given moment when the story is broadcast in the D.Live application.

HOW TO SET UP AUTOMATIC SIGNATURES?
Automatic signatures can be placed on the timeline below the text of the attachment, as well as in the area specialized for placing signatures, which can be accessed by pressing the “+” button located on the right side of the timeline.
The process of signing is the same in both cases.
STEP 1
Press the PLAY button to start viewing the video material.

STEP 2
The PLAY button will change its appearance to the PAUSE button. When we reach the location in the video material where we want to place a signature, we need to press the PAUSE button.

NOTE: We can get to the location we want by dragging the green slider.
STEP 3
When the green pointer is at the desired location, right-click on the timeline, after which a menu for selecting the desired action will open.

Add Lower – Selecting this option will open a window for entering signatures.
Remove All – Selecting this option will delete all signatures.
STEP 4
Selecting the Add Lower option opens a window for entering signatures

It is necessary to fill in the text that we want to appear in the first and second lines of the graphic element and then press the Add button.

STEP 5
By pressing the Add button, the window for entering the signature will close, and a graphic mark indicating that the signature has been added will appear on the timeline.

STEP 6
When we have finished adding the signature, it is necessary to close the window with the X button.

NOTE: If we want to change or delete a signature from the timeline, we need to right-click on the existing signature, which will open the following menu.

Add Lower – Selecting this option will open a window for entering a new signature.
Edit – Selecting this option will open a window for entering a signature, in which we can modify the existing signature
Remove Lower – Selecting this option will delete the selected print.
Remove All – Selecting this option will delete all signatures.
CREATING PRE-DEFINED SIGNATURES
In the window for entering signatures, it is possible to pre-define frequently used signatures (templates).
When we write the first and second lines, we need to click on the “+” button.

The created signature (template) will appear in the list.

By selecting a signature in the list and clicking the Add button, the signature will be placed on the timeline. If we want to delete a signature from the list, it is necessary to select the created signature and click on the “-” button.

The selected signature will be deleted from the list.
