Virtual folders are used for easier organization of assets. You can create an unlimited number of virtual folders in which to place any of the available assets. One asset can be found in multiple virtual folders if you think it can fall into different classifications. Adding assets to the virtual folder is done by simply dragging them from the list (drag&drop method).
1. The color of the virtual folder
Right-clicking on this field opens a window where you can assign/change the color of the virtual folder. It serves for easier recognition of folders.
2. The name of the virtual folder
This field contains the name of the created folder. The folder name can be changed by right-clicking on the folder name:
Rename – By clicking this button you can change the name of the virtual folder.
Remove – Clicking this button will delete the virtual folder.
3. Number of assets in the virtual folder
4. “+” and “-” buttons to add and remove virtual folders
“+” – Clicking this button adds a new virtual folder.
“-“ – Clicking this button removes the selected virtual folder. The folder can also be removed by clicking the “Remove” button, as previously described.
5. Button to open a window with virtual folders
The interface of D.MAM is adaptable to the needs of the user. This button is used to determine the size of the window with virtual folders. The window is resized by clicking this button and, holding the button down, moves the mouse position. This window can be hidden (so that virtual folders are not visible at all) or adjusted to the desired size.
NOTE: By clicking on one of the virtual folders, its contents will be displayed in the window for displaying assets created through user applications. In this space we can see basic information about the assets, such as name, date of last modification, duration, etc.
WORKING WITH PROGRAMS
Programs are sets of assets that make up a mini playlist.
Assets can be added to the program in 3 ways:
a) By simply dragging it into the program and positioning it on the name of the program.
b) By simply dragging it into the asset display field of the selected program.
c) By right-clicking on the asset, and then on the “Create program” option. In this way, a new program is created and the asset is added to it. In this way, the asset cannot be added to an already created program.

In this field, you can enter the name or part of the name of the created program and, by clicking on the magnifying glass icon, perform a search according to the entered words.
