1. LIST OF CREATED ARCHIVING LOCATIONS
When a new archive location is created, it will appear in the list of all created locations.
Clicking on the “+” button will open a window for editing and creating archive locations.
By selecting one of the already created locations in the list and clicking the “-” button, the selected location will be deleted.
2. ADDING A NEW ARCHIVE LOCATION
Clicking the “+” button in the window for editing and creating a location will open a window for creating a new location for the archive.
a. Field for assigning the name of the created target
In the text input field, enter a name that will be visible in the list of created targets (1)
b. Buttons for selecting the type of archive location
By clicking on one of the buttons for selecting the type of archiving location, we can select the type of location. Depending on the location type, certain options that the location supports will open (c)
c. Options for setting the archive location
Depending on the chosen type of location, the options may be different.
ALTO
I. IP address and port for accessing the ALTO archive
II. Username and password to access the ALTO archive
III. Space for loading and selecting groups.

FTP
I. FTP address and port for accessing the FTP server
II. The path to the location on the FTP server where the files will be archived

NEARLINE
I. Paths to locations on a local or network drive used as storage The “READ” and “WRITE” semaphores show whether reading and writing are possible at the desired location.

d. List of users who are allowed to use the created site
Considering that sending a file to a specific location depends on the user’s privileges, each user can be assigned which targets they can use.
Clicking on the “+” button will open a list of all users from which we can select the user to whom we want to enable the use of the selected target.
By selecting a user in the list and clicking on the “-” button, the selected user will be deleted from the list.
e. How the created location is used
“Copy” – A copy of the material will be made on the archive location, and the existing material on the storage will be retained
“Move” – The material will be transferred to the archiving location and the existing material on the storage will be deleted
f. Accepting and opting out of creating an archiving location
“Cancel” – Clicking the “Cancel” button will cancel the creation of the archiving location
“Save” – By clicking the “Save” button, the created location for archiving will be remembered.
