1. Name of the channel
It is used only for easier navigation and will not affect recording in any way. The name can be changed by clicking on the field and entering a new name.
2. Input type
D.Logger can record two different types of inputs. Input for installed Decklink cards (AV input) or input from an Internet stream (IP stream).
If the AV input (a) option is selected, two drop down lists (b and c) will appear.
In the audio drop-down list (b) we choose which input of the Decklink cards enters as audio signal, and in the video drop-down list (c) we choose the input of the Decklink cards to use as input for video signal.
If the IP stream (a) option is selected, the lines for entering the address of the stream (b) will appear.
In the entry line (b), you need to enter the address of the lP stream that you want to record.
3. Button to start saving
By pressing the start button, the recording to the location selected in the Recording options will be started.
- Pressing the button will start recording.
- Pressing the button will stop recording
